2011 St. Louis Regional Business Plan Competition is accepting applications

The second annual St. Louis Regional Business Plan Competition, presented by St. Louis County Economic Council and sponsored by Edward Jones, is open for submissions. The competition is open to start-up and early-stage, for-profit companies from all industries in the St. Louis Region. The deadline for online applications is March 1, 2011. Selected semi-finalists must submit completed business plans by April 29, 2011.
The top three business plans will win a total of $100,000 in prize money, along with in-kind services.
- First Place Winner: $50,000 and 30 hours each of in-kind accounting, legal, and marketing services
- Second Place Winner: $30,000 and 25 hours each of in-kind accounting, legal, and marketing services
- Third Place Winner: $20,000 and 20 hours each of in-kind accounting, legal, and marketing services
Competition winners will be announced on June 28, 2011.
