Doug Nash has never washed so many glass bottles. But the work seems worth it, once you see what he turns them into! The products produced by "The Smashed Chefs" are all from recycled bottles. You'll find everything from decorative plaques to serving pieces. Bottles are both smashed to pieces as well as melted in a kiln.
The Smashed Chefs products sell for anywhere from $6 to $75. The most popular gift is the personalized plaques for brides and grooms which sell for $31. You can provide your own special bottle or Doug will. He has a big recycled supply, saving about 3 tons of bottles a year from landfills.
