Best Cities for Business Rankings: St. Louis #25
A total of 102 cities, with a population of 500,000 or more, were rated against each other in 14 categories to compile MarketWatch's list of "Best Cities for Business." The study took a hard look at how cities have tried to contain their jobless rates in the past year and how they have done from the time the economic boom reached its apex in 2006 to today. St. Louis made the top quartile, ranking No. 25, and Kansas City ranked No. 37 on the list.
