Boeing Institute to Host Midwest China Airport Hub Discussion

Experts will discuss efforts to add a commercial air cargo hub in St. Louis.

The Boeing Institute of International Business at Saint Louis University's John Cook School of Business will present the "Midwest China Airport Hub Seminar" from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17. The event will be held in the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium in Cook Hall, 3674 Lindell Blvd. at Spring.
A panel discussion on the efforts to develop a commercial air cargo hub in St. Louis will be moderated by Seung Kim, Ph.D., director of the Boeing Institute. A question and answer session will follow. Panelists include:
Michael Jones: Senior policy advisor to St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley and chairman of the Midwest China Hub Commission.
Jason Von Eaton: Principal, Spectrum Consulting Group and executive director of the Midwest China Hub Commission.
Tim Nowak: Executive director of the World Trade Center Saint Louis
Steven Johnson: Senior vice president of economic development, St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association
The cost of the event is $25 per person and includes the program, a reception and complimentary garage parking. Reservations are required and must be received by Friday, Feb. 12.
