Target Date is Set for Expressway Opening

St. Louis County hopes to open a six-lane expressway that would connect Olive Boulevard and Page Avenue on July 1, 2012, highway officials told members of the County Council on Tuesday at a committee meeting. The date was the earliest they have said the road in west St. Louis County would open. But they said they would delay the opening to make sure it would occur at the same time as that of a relocated section of Highway 141 from the new road to St. Luke's Hospital that the state is constructing.
