St. Louis, MO, April 29, 2010 - St. Louis Enterprise Centers - South County will graduate Vega Transport, making room for other startup, growing businesses. The graduation ceremony will take place 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

Vega Transport, a Bosnian-owned company, provides over the road trucking transportation to customers nationwide. Since the company's inception in 2005, it has experienced exponential growth. Its new location, across the street from the Enterprise Center, provides more office space and serves as the company's headquarters.

"The role of the Enterprise Centers are to provide support so emerging companies eventually can grow and thrive on their own. When businesses graduate, it is good for everyone - the companies are succeeding, and the incubators are doing their jobs. We're excited for Vega Transport and wish the business ongoing success," said St. Louis County Executive Charlie A. Dooley.

St. Louis Enterprise - South County, located at 315 Lemay Ferry Road, is among four small business incubators managed by St. Louis County Economic Council (Midtown, Wellston and West County). The centers provide affordable office and warehouse space, shared support services, access to expert advice and mentors, and valuable networking opportunities. Companies stay at the Enterprise Centers for an average of five years before moving to their own location, typically within proximity to where they incubated.

Dooley will recognize Vega Transport for its accomplishment and success. A reception will follow with refreshments prepared by culinary businesses from St. Louis Enterprise Centers - Midtown.
