Spanish Lake to hold resource fair for youth
From the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH 05/31/2007The Hazelwood School District and the Spanish Lake Youth Task Force will co-sponsor the Spanish Lake Youth Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Twillman Elementary School, 11831 Bellefontaine Road, Spanish Lake.
The fair, which is free, is an opportunity for youths and parents to learn about programs, camps, job opportunities, activities and services available to Spanish Lake residents this summer.
The members of the Spanish Lake Youth Task Force, appointed by County Executive Charlie Dooley, include residents of Spanish Lake, county staff members and representatives of the Hazelwood School District, Trinity Catholic High School, the county Police Department, Christian Hospital and area businesses. Their mission is to help develop resources for youths and family-oriented activities in Spanish Lake during non-school hours.
