New rock climbing gym on its way to south St. Louis

There is a new rock climbing gym coming to south St. Louis.
A group of entrepreneurs has plans to turn the old city hospital power plant into the gym. Construction on the property should begin within the next 30 days.
The gym will be called Climb So iLL.
This week, leaders with the St. Louis County Economic County gave the entrepreneurs $30,000 to help with the funding. One of the founders says the group will use the money to create jobs and host international rock climbing competitions.
The facility will have more than 9,000 square feet of vertical climbing space.
