New research park to open in St. Louis County

CREVE COEUR, Mo. (AP) -- Stormy weather has kept Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon from attending the opening of a new science and technology research park in St. Louis County.
The Tuesday morning ceremony marks the beginning of the Bio-Research and Development Growth Park in Creve Coeur. It will be on the same campus as the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. The research park is expected to generate 350 permanent jobs.
