SBA funds Europa's $1.4M expansion
St. Louis Business Journal - 5:06 PM CDT Tuesday, July 10, 2007The St. Louis County Economic Council recently funded a $1.4 million project to move Europa Market Co. to its new location in south St. Louis city.
The building will serve as the main distribution point for central and western states.
A Small Business Administration 504 loan, in participation with Regions Bank, made it possible for EM Property Holdings LLC to purchase the building, located at 8100 Water Street, for Europa.
Europa Market is an ethnic grocery importer, distributing food from Eastern Eupope to several midwestern states.
