Wondering what the future might hold for the Jamestown Mall? Now's your chance to find out more.
The St. Louis County Economic Council is hosting a public meeting Thursday to kick off its planning process to re-make the struggling north county shopping center.

It'll be held at the mall's movie theater from 6:30 to 8 on Thursday, and will include presentations from County Executive Charlie Dooley and from the architects and planners who'll be working on the project. They plan to spend the next eight months devising a feasibility study and master plan for the mall.

It's the latest step in a process that began last fall when the county brought in a team of planning experts to study ideas for the place, which has changed hands several times in recent years and seen many of its stores close.
