The St. Louis area has suffered during tough economic times. Companies have been bought out, moved out, or closed down. There is constant talk of how Americans are outsourcing to other countries, and losing jobs. However, there is hope on the horizon.
There is a decor print company, who just created 100 jobs in the St. Louis area. A German company, Schattdecor, has invested millions of dollars into securing a location in North America - Maryland Heights to be exact.
According to a news report from KMOV, St. Louis News Channel 4, it takes a total of 50 employees for one printing press. The company currently owns two presses, but hopes to, eventually, have three more presses operating. This would create a total of 150 additional new jobs over the next 5 years, within the Schattdecor company alone. Additional jobs, outside of the company, are expected to pop up as well.
In bleak economic times, there is always hope. This time, it has come in the form of a company from Germany coming to North America to create jobs.
