FENTON, Mo. (AP) -- A St. Louis County technology company has decided to stay in Missouri rather than move to Florida, thanks in part to more than $1.5 million in tax credits and other incentives.
Leinco Technologies will not only stay in St. Louis County but plans to expand into a Fenton building that once housed a supplier to the former Chrysler assembly plant. That building is nearly three times larger than Leinco's current building in an unincorporated part of the county.
State officials say Leinco will keep its 20 existing jobs and add 48 full-time positions.
The company produces scientific research tools, testing kits and other biotechnology and diagnostic tools.
