St. Louis leaders court China for business to Lambert Airport

St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay and other area leaders met with dignitaries from China to discuss the next step in making the St. Louis region a Midwest-Cargo Hub to increase trade to China.

Mayor Slay and St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley spoke at a meeting with official from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), China Air Transport Association (CATA) and Chinese Cargo Airlines, at Lambert St. Louis-International Airport on Monday morning.

The group of dignitaries arrived in St. Louis on Sunday night.

They will also meet with St. Louis political and business leaders.
