Express Scripts will continue expanding its facilities in North County.
The company will build a prescription distribution center as part of a 12-acre $74 million expansion in NorthPark. This will be the third building since the business moved it headquarters in 2007 to the University of Missouri-St. Louis Campus.
When it is finished in 2010, it will dispense 110,000 prescriptions per day. The facility will generate about 270 jobs.
The center will be located across Interstate 70 from the headquarters. NorthPark is a 550-acre business park south of Lambert International Airport.
Express Scripts is one of the largest pharmacy benefits managers in North America, providing service to thousands of businesses.
