Dennis V. Breite is Vice President of the St. Louis Enterprise Centers. He oversees operations of St. Louis County Economic Council’s (SLCEC) four enterprise centers and leads the recruiting efforts for new client companies. He also develops special programs that help ensure successful entrepreneurial growth.

As vice president, Breite is responsible for the overall management of each facility, its managers, and maintenance personnel. He works directly with client companies to develop an array of assistance options targeted to their needs and stage of development. He maintains cooperative alliances with other small business programs and initiatives that collectively assist with the start-up and growth of small businesses to create employment opportunities and expand economic development within the St. Louis region.

Breite earned an MBA in finance from Saint Louis University and B.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He also completed the Stanford Financial Management Executive Program. Breite’s former work experience includes executive positions at Mallinckrodt, Graybar Electric, and Washington University School of Medicine. His civic and community involvement includes the Financial Executives Institute (member) and Wild Bird Sanctuary (board treasurer).

Through the Enterprise Centers, SLCEC provides new and growing businesses with affordable space, support services, access to mentors, and valuable networking opportunities. The St. Louis Enterprise Centers, located in Midtown, South County, West County, and Wellston provide assistance to nearly 100 companies in manufacturing, construction, professional services, software development, information systems, telecommunications, and other fields.
