For nearly 25 years, the St. Louis County Economic Council has been working to improve the quality of life for all county citizens. Starting as a small agency, we have grown to offer more products and services to St. Louis County businesses and communities than most economic development organizations in even larger metropolitan areas.
From financing, incubation, and mentoring services for smaller businesses…to attraction and retention efforts for larger enterprises...to international expertise provided through our World Trade Center…and community redevelopment projects for our older communities…the St. Louis County Economic Council provides a comprehensive array of services that have helped St. Louis County remain the economic engine of the state.
We achieve our goals through cooperation with local municipalities, the State and other regional governments, the private sector, and our educational institutions. As we approach our 25th anniversary, we look forward to bringing even greater growth, more diversity of businesses and increased opportunity to the communities of St. Louis County.
