St. Luke’s named 50 Best Hospital

For the third consecutive year, St. Luke’s Hospital, led by President and CEO Gary Olson, is the only hospital in Missouri to be ranked a HealthGrades America’s 50 Best Hospital.

The designation is based on mortality and complication rates for patients at each of the nation’s nearly 5,000 non-federal hospitals.

HealthGrades is an independent healthcare ratings organization. Hospitals cannot opt in or out of this independent analysis.

Patients admitted to an America’s 50 Best Hospital are 27 percent more likely to survive and 8 percent less likely to suffer from a major complication, according to HealthGrades.

St. Luke’s Hospital, located in Chesterfield, is a regional 493-bed hospital specializing in 60 areas, including cardiovascular care and surgery, cancer care, neurosurgery and neurology, orthopedics, maternity and other women's health, general medicine, outpatient services, pediatrics and comprehensive surgical services.
