Like other metropolitan areas, St. Louis County has many
opportunities for community reinvestment. SLCEC Real
Estate & Community Development Division targets
abandoned or underutilized sites and works to
return them to productive commercial, industrial,
and/or residential use. From land assemblage
to Brownfield remediation to infrastructure
improvements, we take the first critical
steps needed to attract developers.

community groups, and
business leaders, bringing
our expertise and resources
to the redevelopment table.
