Affton
Grasso Plaza – Commercial Redevelopment
SLCEC worked with the owners of the property to develop a comprehensive redevelopment plan for the site.
Affton & Lemay
Façade Improvement Matching Fund Program
Working in partnership with Affton- and Lemay-area businesses, SLCEC has implemented a façade improvement program along Gravois and Lemay Ferry roads. The program provides local business owners with matching funds to make exterior improvements to their businesses. The effort is contributing to neighborhood revitalization and further stimulating local economic development.
Jefferson Barracks
CEC is working with the Jefferson Barracks Heritage Foundation to develop a strategic plan for creating a museum complex dedicated to the Citizen Soldier. This project will serve to increase the draw of Jefferson Barracks as a tourist destination and an economic generator for the South County area.
Lemay
National Lead
St. Louis County Port Authority is working with Pinnacle Gaming to redevelop the 80-acre National lead Site. The development will consist of a 90,000 square foot casino, 100 hotel rooms and approximately 280,000 square feet of indoor retail-related, commercial and/or entertainment facilities.
Stupp Bros. - 35-Acre Redevelopment
Preliminary study and design options submitted for land acquisition and construction of a
new interchange at Highway 55 and Weber Road.
Village of Marlborough
Village of Marlborough Redevelopment Plan
Working with the Village of Marlborough, SLCEC has blighted the southwest corner of Watson and Laclede Station Roads to assist in the redevelopment of this commercial corridor.
