| |
| SLCEC currently operates four state-of-the-art facilities serving nearly 100 client companies. These companies know business incubators can enhance the likelihood of success for start-ups, in fact, St. Louis Enterprise Centers' graduate companies have a success rate exceeding 80%. |
| |
| The Centers are strategically located and offer a variety of space options designed to accommodate a broad range of business types. From office to retail space, light manufacturing to distribution and laboratory to warehouse, each Center has "specific use" as well as "multi-functional" space available. |

| Our newest facility, located in Wellston, represents a private-sector community participation model. Edward Jones, a national company based in St. Louis has contributed major resources to support community entrepreneurial development. Southwestern Bell contributed by buying Brownsfields Remediation Tax Credits. State and federal government agencies have provided incentives and other support to attract jobs, tax revenues and economic spin-offs. St. Louis County's leadership
sends a positive message that it is "business friendly." The entire St. Louis region is the beneficiary of this innovative approach to small business development. |
