Timothy J. Nowak
Executive Director

As Executive Director of the World Trade Center, Tim Nowak
brings more than 15 years’ experience in business development, domestic and international sales, and management.  He has managed and directed international sales organizations in the medical industry including distribution and direct sales strategies. 

Nowak’s expertise includes analyzing international markets, determining business models to enter, and executing a plan for sales and profit growth.  He possesses solid experience in establishing international subsidiary organizations, managing legal and regulatory issues, contract negotiations, and international interviewing and hiring. 

He brings to the World Trade Center extensive international working experience in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. 

Nowak was born and raised in St. Louis and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Logistics from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. 

 
   
Cheryl M. Marty
Deputy Director

Cheryl M. Marty is the Deputy Director.
In this position she is responsible for the development and enhancement of the World Trade Center's image in the regional market. Ms. Marty directs the creation and production of all marketing materials, educational and social programming and fundraising efforts; develops and reviews business development programs to create alternative revenue sources; assists in selling the resources of the World Trade Center to new and existing clients; interacts with current clients and staff to assess client satisfaction levels and suggest changes; and serves as the main liaison between the World Trade Center Saint Louis and other organizations within the international business community. She previously served in several positions in marketing and sales with Saint Louis University and the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association. Ms. Marty holds an undergraduate degree with honors from Saint Louis University.
 
 

 
Sean M. Mullins
Director, Trade Services

SEAN M. MULLINS is the Director, Trade Services. He is responsible for all trade and market research. In that capacity, he manages a staff of research interns and maintains the center’s research databases. Mr. Mullins previously worked at the World Affairs Council of St. Louis. There he served as Program Director and was responsible for activities involving high level officials such as Ambassadors, Consul Generals and U.S. State Department diplomats. Mr. Mullins also directed the creation of World Affairs Council marketing materials and did research to ensure the timeliness and relevance of the organization’s activities. His other employers have also included U.S. Senators Christopher “Kit” Bond and John Ashcroft for whom he jointly worked as a field representative answering constituent concerns involving federal issues. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Creighton University, and also holds an Executive Master of International Business from Saint Louis University’s Boeing Institute of International Business. In addition to his U.S. studies, Mr. Mullins has also studied in Lithuania at the University of Vilnius and in the Dominican Republic at the Institute for Latin American Concern. Mr. Mullins speaks Spanish at an intermediate level and has a particular interest in Filipino culture.

 
 

 
Stella Coen-Sheehan
Stella Coen-Sheehan
Director, Client Services


STELLA COEN-SHEEHAN is the Director, Client Services. She is responsible for client communications, website maintenance and managing the customer relationship database. She provides direction to clients and affiliates and develops electronic communications. Ms. Coen-Sheehan hails from Ireland and was previously employed in a marketing capacity with Tourism Ireland in Brussels , Belgium and with Routledge Ltd. in London . She also held a position as an English Language Assistant in Auvergne , France and has studied at the Università Degli Studi di Trento, Italy . Since her arrival in St. Louis she has worked as a cross-cultural trainer with Global Vision Strategies and also as a foreign language instructor with St. Louis Community College . Ms. Coen-Sheehan holds a B.A. with honors in French and Italian from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Masters with honors in Applied Languages for Business from the University of Ulster at Coleraine. She is fluent in French, Italian and Irish with basic Dutch and some business Spanish.

 
 

 
Tracey Tillman
Tracey Tillman
Interim Director, Administration

TRACEY TILLMAN is the Interim Director of Administration. She is responsible for the Center's financial transactions and overall administrative functions. In addition, she is responsible for the scheduling, set-up and maintenance of the WTC Conference Facility and is the tenant liaison for international businesses utilizing office space at the WTC. Tracey is originally from Brooklyn, New York where she has over 10 years experience working in office environments. Tracey has assisted with Conference and Guest Services, Billing, Facilities Management, Information Technology, Food Services and Special Events.
