Centene Corporation
In 2010, Centene Corporation completed its world headquarters in Clayton. The company, which provides managed-care programs and related services to Medicaid recipients, plans to create an additional 800 jobs over seven years.
The development will increase Clayton's economic presence and enhance the area as a prime location for conducting business, enjoying a meal or shopping at high-end retail stores. Additionally, the facility was built under strict LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, making it a certified green building.
