Centene Corporation
Centene Corporation has revived plans for expanding its world headquarters in Clayton. The company, which provides managed-care programs and related services to Medicaid recipients, employs 630 people at its current headquarters with plans to create an additional 600 jobs over seven years.
The development will increase Clayton's economic presence and enhance the area as a prime location for conducting business, enjoying a meal or shopping at high-end retail stores. Additionally, plans call for the facility to be built under strict LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards, making it a certified green building.
