Emerson Electric
In 2009, Emerson consolidated its 100 computer centers around the world into four locations including a $60 million, state-of-the-art data center in north St. Louis County. The company, which employs 2,400 locally, added 35,000 square feet of additional space to its Ferguson headquarters to house the data center.
St. Louis County Economic Council worked with Emerson to locate within an Enhanced Enterprise Zone, which includes state income tax credits and local real property tax abatements.
