National Personnel Records Center
November 2009, The Molasky Group of Companies closed on the land purchase for one of St. Louis County's most complex projects, a $112 million, high-performance records center for National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The majority of NARA operations will relocate from the Federal Records Center at 9700 Page Avenue to the new North County facility, which will be the largest national archives facility outside of the greater Washington, D.C. area.
The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion fall of 2011 and will retain 800 jobs. NARA is a central repository of personnel-related records for both military and civil service employees.
