River City

St. Louis County Port Authority and Pinnacle Entertainment have redeveloped the long-abandoned former National Lead site in the community of Lemay. The development necessitated the environmental remediation of the site, replacement of the Weber Road Bridge and a new roadway connector from I-55 to the Mississippi riverfront. The Port Authority helped assemble the site, identify developers, secure Brownfield Remediation Tax Credits and regulatory approvals, expand greenway trails and assist with the Lemay community center.

The 250,000-square-foort River City Casino and Entertainment Complex consists of a 90,000-square-foot casino with 2,100 slot machines, 55 table games, six restaurants, and other amenities.
