Route 141 Initiative
A sound economy relies on a number of factors, and transportation plays an important role. Local and state leaders have come together to complete Route 141/Maryland Heights Expressway, which will positively impact the entire region.
The benefits of this major thoroughfare include:
- Reducing congestion on Interstate 270
- Improving commuting patterns for residents of St. Louis, Jefferson and St. Charles counties
- Increasing business investment to create more jobs
- Improving opportunities to transport goods and services
- Creating greater access points for Interstate 70, Highway 40/Interstate 64 and Page Avenue
- Completing Route 141 will impact over 1.5 million residents
