Seiler Instrument
In October 2008, Seiler Instrument ended its five-year search for a new location. The contract manufacturer and distributor has moved approximately 150 local employees to Tree Court Industrial Park in southwest St. Louis County and celebrated its ribbon cutting early June 2009.
Seiler purchased the 150,000-square-foot facility for $5.8 million, tripling the amount of space it previously occupied. Initially, the company will utilize about 75 percent of the building, and take on the remaining space as needed. Seiler expects to add about 45 employees to their existing 140 jobs, mostly manufacturing jobs.
