In October 2008, Seiler Instruments ended its five-year search for a new location. The contract manufacturer and distributor plans to move approximately 150 local employees to Tree Court Industrial Park in southwest St. Louis County. Seiler purchased the 150,000-square-foot facility for $5.8 million, tripling the amount of space it previously occupied. Initially, the company will utilize about 75 percent of the building, and take on the remaining space as needed. Seiler expects to add about 30 to 40 employees, mostly manufacturing jobs. St. Louis County will provide 10 years of fifty percent abatement of real and personal property taxes for the project.
