    State Incentives

The State of Missouri offers a variety of incentive programs to new and expanding business across a variety of industries. St. Louis County Economic Council works directly with representatives at the Department of Economic Development to create joint proposals that provide cost savings to companies looking to expand. Two of the most popular programs used by client companies are:

    Missouri Quality Jobs

The Missouri Quality Jobs program provides both a cash and tax credit benefit to qualifying companies.

    Enhanced Enterprise Zone

The Enhanced Enterprise Zone is a discretionary program that offers state tax credits to companies expanding in approved distressed areas. The tax credits are available over a five-year timeframe and are awarded based on the level of job creation and capital investment being made.
