Wellston Redevelopment Corporation
Wellston Redevelopment Corporation (WRC) is a redevelopment entity created to administer economic and community redevelopment in Wellston, MO. The WRC's role is to review and approve redevelopment proposals to ensure that such activities are in accordance with a comprehensive redevelopment plan adopted by Wellston. The WRC represents a unique collaboration between St. Louis County, the City of Wellston and members of the Wellston business community. The board is composed of two representatives from the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of the County of St. Louis, two representatives from the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of the City of Wellston and a representative from one of Wellston's major employers.
