Timothy J. Nowak

As Executive Director, Tim Nowak overseas a team of professionals and the delivery of valuable services to member companies. Under his direction, the World Trade Center provides customized trade research to identify global opportunities, trade focused events, key business contacts and introductions, and training and educational programs.
Nowak brings more than 16 years of experience in business development, domestic and international sales, and management. He has extensive international working experience in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. Nowak has managed and directed international sales organizations in the medical industry including distribution and direct sales strategies. His expertise includes analyzing international markets, determining business models, and executing sales and profit growth plans. He possesses solid experience in establishing international subsidiary organizations, managing legal and regulatory issues, and contract negotiations.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Nowak holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Logistics from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
Cheryl M. Marty
Deputy Director

As the deputy director, Cheryl Marty is responsible for the development and enhancement of the World Trade Center's image in the regional market. Marty directs the creation and production of all marketing materials, educational and social programming and fundraising efforts; develops and reviews business development programs to create alternative revenue sources; assists in selling the resources of the World Trade Center; and serves as the main liaison between the World Trade Center Saint Louis and other organizations within the international business community.
Sean M. Mullins
Director, Trade Services

As the director of trade services, Sean Mullins is responsible for all trade and market research projects. In such capacity, he manages a staff of research interns and maintains the center’s research databases. Mullins previously worked at the World Affairs Council of St. Louis where he served as program director and was responsible for activities involving high level officials such as ambassadors, consul generals and U.S. state department diplomats.
Ana Romero-Lizana
Director, International Business Development

As director of International business development, Ana Romero-Lizana is responsible for member development and referrals to the World Trade Center Saint Louis. She maintains the existing member base and handles all organization and service inquiries. Romero has more than 22 years of experience in international business and management in addition to a comprehensive understanding of domestic and international sales and logistics. Her expertise includes initiating sales opportunities and building strong business relationships.
Stella Coen-Sheehan
Director, Client Services

As the director of client services, Stella Sheehan manages client communications, Web site maintenance and the customer relationship database. She provides direction to clients and affiliates and develops electronic communications. In addition, she serves as a liaison between World Trade Center Saint Louis and St. Louis’ fifteen Sister Cities committees. Sheehan hails from Ireland and was previously employed in a marketing capacity with Tourism Ireland in Brussels, Belgium.
Tracey Tillman
Director, Administration

As the office manager, Tracey Tillman is responsible for the center's financial transactions and overall administrative functions. She is responsible for the scheduling, set-up and maintenance of the World Trade Center’s conference facility and is the tenant liaison for international businesses utilizing office space. Tillman has over 10 years' experience working in office environments.
